A Sculpture Experience.
This weekend, visitors are invited behind the scenes into the artists’ studio to see miniature to monumental works in progress, and the materials and tools used to create bronze sculptures. Meet the Cochrane artists famous for their heroic scale bronze statues of historic figures, heroes and wildlife. See their studio where the Mayerthorpe Fallen Four Memorial was created, Cochrane’s familiar statues “Legacy,” “Children Reading” and 100 more monumental bronze statues across North America. Visitors are guided through the intricate steps of the age-old lost wax bronze casting process.
