Plans are well underway for 2015 Doors Open Cochrane, with many of the 2014 sites participating again, and more signing up every day.
Doors Open Cochrane has been moved to the end of April to relieve some of the scheduling pressure of a fall event.
On April 24 and 25, local organizations are invited to participate and show everyone what they do, what makes them unique and all the ways they contribute to Cochrane’s thriving business community.
During the two days of Doors Open Cochrane, the public is granted access — free of charge — to municipal government and local business sites for exclusive tours, events and insider information sessions that allow them to get to know Cochrane in a way that has never been possible before.
Doors Open originated in France in the mid-80s and has since been held in New York City, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro and more. The Doors Open concept first came to Canada in 2000 when Toronto held its first annual Doors Open event. Calgary has been holding Doors Open since 2012; Cochrane held its first one last year.
Register your local business or organization here. The full list of participating site will be available for the public at the beginning of April.
